Senior Frontend Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer who is passionate about creating exceptional user experiences. You will lead frontend development efforts, work closely with designers and backend developers, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, performant web applications.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of modern, responsive web applications
Architect and implement scalable frontend solutions
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs into high-quality code
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards
Mentor junior frontend developers and conduct code reviews
Implement and maintain component libraries and design systems
Stay current with frontend technologies and recommend improvements
Write automated tests for frontend components

Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of professional frontend development experience
Expert-level proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
Strong experience with React.js or Vue.js (3+ years)
Deep understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development
Proficiency in CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less) or CSS-in-JS solutions
Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Vuex, Pinia)
Knowledge of build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, Rollup)
Understanding of web performance optimization techniques
Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
Strong knowledge of web accessibility (WCAG) standards
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and leadership abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with TypeScript
Knowledge of Next.js, Nuxt.js, or similar frameworks
Familiarity with component testing (Jest, React Testing Library, Vitest)
Experience with design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
Understanding of SEO best practices
Knowledge of GraphQL and modern API patterns
Experience with Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first frameworks
Familiarity with animation libraries (Framer Motion, GSAP)
Contributions to open-source projects
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
